Their range of cutting edge products required a significantly different environment that could only be achieved by the development of designed to purpose buildings. The challenge was how to design and construct a new and appropriate operating environment whilst maintaining manufacturing capability and deadlines. 

A detailed evaluation of the site and existing buildings produced a design solution which retained, preserved and enhanced the core heritage buildings on the site, alongside the new buildings required to allow Icon Aerospace to remain in the town for the long term while still operating efficiently in advanced manufacturing markets across the world.
