The former RAF Upwood was acquired from the Ministry of Defence and planning consent was obtained for a scheme of 160 houses in 2017
Demolition work has started to clear the phase one area which accommodates the 160 new homes the subject of the planning consent. The site is being developed in conjunction with the adjacent former USAF Dental Clinic site. A planning application is being prepared for an additional 325 new homes (Phase Two).
